Wed. June 19 - fly to London

Thurs. June 20 - land in London, take the train to Chester, overnight in Chester

Fri. June 21 - explore Chester, overnight Chester

Sat. June 22 - day trip to the Lake District, overnight Chester

Sun. June 23 - train to Conwy, Wales; overnight Conwy

Mon. June 24 - explore Conwy; overnight Conwy

Tues. June 25 - either see more of Conwy, or visit Beaumaris Castle on Anglesey; overnight Conwy

Wed. June 26 - bus to Caernarfon; overnight Caernarfon

Thurs. June 27 - bus to Harlech Castle; overnight Caernarfon

Fri. June 28 - bus to Bangor, train to London - join up with my class!

Fri. 28 June - London, neighborhood tour in the afternoon

Sat. 29 June - 9am Class Meeting; 11am Orientation; 2pm LondonALIVE walking tour - London Vintage Voyage, described as follows: If you love the looks of yesteryear and one-of-a-kind fashion pieces, join us as we ramble the streets of London on a quest to find the best vintage retailers. This walk features a jaunt to several of the best retro retailers in London with a stop in the Old Spitalfields Market. We will explore the vintage shops in the Shoreditch area as we wind around London's Brick Lane in our quest for nostalgic fashions. The journey ends at the Vintage Emporium and Tea Room. Bring a tube pass, comfortable shoes, and a few pounds for a spot of tea and fresh-baked cakes.

Sun. 30 June - morning free; afternoon LondonALIVE walking tour - Photogenic London, described as follows: With Joni Noble as your guide, there is no better way to photograph one of the oldest cities in the world, and your home away from home for the next month. Bring your camera along, and be prepared to take artistic shots of some of the most recognizable and iconic scenes in London - Big Ben, the Millennium bridge, the London Eye, why not St. Paul’s Cathedral? A quick walk through the cavernous entrance to The Tate Modern makes a backdrop for some memorable photos. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and what better way to share your first few days in London with friends and family back home than through photographs of the fun you will have?
